    Again thanks very much

I did not realize how many "things" exist in a computer

I followed your instructions and as you said there are only 40 KB left

Type "Storage" in your Cortana/Search icon on the taskbar.

    Select the first option.

Select the icon under "This PC" (C)

Scroll down to "Temporary Files" and select the icon next to it. (Looks like the recycle bin)

Check the box next to  "Temporary Files

Scroll down until you can see "Updates". If that number seems excessively large I'll tell you how to fix that in a second.

If you have a lot of files in your "downloads" folder check that box too. These are usually old "installers" that you have stored on your computer. You can safely remove them. The programs you installed will remain.

If your Recycle bin has junk in it check that box as well.

    Click "remove files."

If you want to check what IS in your "Downloads" folder before emptying it then UNcheck that box before clicking "Remove Files".

Type  "Downloads" into your search window. Select "Downloads in Default"

Manually delete all the files/folders you don't need.

FIXING LARGE DATA AMOUNTS IN UPDATE THAT YOU CANNOT INSTALL OR REMOVE.

Type Troubleshoot in the Search Window.

    Select the Windows Update Troubleshooter.

Run the program and select and run all suggested "fixes".

When it has run return to the "Updates" folder again as above.

You should see only a few kb now.

Because it's where all your programs live.
