*Update 02/22/2018*I found a site that i was able to download 3 version of drivers that should work with my SSD, but I am unable to install the drivers, for now, this is the site: win-raid drivers.**** *update* 02/20/2018 - Specification of the boot timings:

Windows is installed on the the WD Spinning drive and copied as is to the SSD drive, The time of boot was measured and can be recreated:

22 seconds bot: Can happen only after Shut down when the WD is the boot drive.

150 seconds boot: Can happen in 3 different settings:

  1. Restart: WD boot drive, Add 30 seconds to the reset to complete and windows will start to load, from that point to the pin code, 150 seconds.

2) Restart: SSD boot drive, Add 30 seconds to the reset to complete and windows will start to load, from that point to the pin code, 150 seconds.

  1. Shut down: SSD boot drive, will happen without special delay and to power up and get to the pin code, 150 seconds.

BCD store 150 seconds Reset BCD store 20 seconds Shut down BCD store 20 seconds Shut down(SSD crash) BCD store 150 seconds Reset (fast boot disable)

**** Original post:

When SSD is connected to the M.2 slot, the laptop show normal situation in BIOS.

But at the moment a Windows 10 USB is connected, you can see the problem in DISKPART.

In a situation when continue to windows installation with the Phantom disks:

You might try opening Disk Management and going to the left end of drive 0.  If you right click that area it will show some options regarding that drive.  Maybe what options are shown will give some insight into what is happening.

To look at a VHD file you can mount it.  You will get a warning you ignore and then open Disk Management and give it a drive letter.

The other way is to open Disk Management to use the Attach option from the menu.  But however it is done, the Detach option needs to be used when done so it does not corrupt the mounted file.  Are the files you tried to mount still available?

One other thing I might check is the BCD store to see if it contains multiple entries for the drive.  Open an Administrative command prompt and use the command below.  Check the listing for the entries for that drive.

    bcdedit /enum firmware

You may end up needing to remove the drive and rebooting without it using install or recovery media.

The only thing i know about VHD is that i tried to look for them in DISKPART and i wasnt able to,  i never worked with a thing like that and in any time i can just remove the SSD and there are no other disks, its just the SSD that is shown as 4 disks when its connected, they all come and go together.

Here is the full BIOS, should i change any thing?

In your Bios, the System configuration will have a setting for the SATA controller.  Is it being run as RAID or AHCI?  Don't change anything because you could have boot problems.

If Lenovo says it does not use Toshiba drives, is that correct and you installed the M.2 drive?  There may be some compatibility situation involved with that particular drive.

Have you been running any virtual drives?  Have you mounted any VHD partitions and not disconnected from them.

I have seen situations where, if I had an SD card installed, Disk Management would not even open but would open as soon as the SD card was removed.  I would try uninstalling the SD card reader and make sure you do not use the safe removal option when you remove a card.  I cannot explain why the uninitialized drives are showing as Toshiba..

You cant utilize drives 0-2 you can utilize 3, the only way to remove 0-2 is to manually uninstall in Device Manager,

The only command of DISKPART that works on Disks 0-2 is "Clean", and you can't "Clean" and then "format fs=fat32" or any thing like that, disks 0-2 only works with clean and then can only be removed from showing up like this is with Device Manager, now in any case, if you will remove disk 0-2, the SSD will remain disk 3, but for example if you will have no data on no drive and you will only have empty SSD and USB with windows 10 installation on it, then you can go to the windows installation Hard disk menu, and then click X on disks 0-3 and remove them, then you will have only one drive to install windows on, and it will be Disk 3, In this picture you can see what happen if you try to install windows 10 when you have 2 empty disk, then the SSD will be Disk 4, and then the WD will be Disk 3, and 0-2 will again be the Phantoms:

This is how Phanom Disks look in the Disk Management (if Windows would be installed on them, you can safly Uninstall the first 3, and the 4th one will keep working with Windows 10:
