    Also:

    ICloud

    1. Download “iCloud Control Panel for Windows” from the Apple download site (see Resources). Save the installation file to your hard drive. Click the EXE file to launch the installation wizard and follow the on-screen instructions to install the software. Click “Finish” when the installation is complete to close the wizard.

    https://www.groovypost.com/howto/use-apple-iclo...

    1. Tap the “Settings” icon on the iPad Home screen to open the Settings menu.
    2. Tap the “iCloud” tab to open the iCloud Settings screen.
    3. Tap “Use iCloud” to activate the service. The Apple ID prompt displays. Type the Apple ID you will use with your iCloud account. The iCloud Settings menu opens to list all available data types you can sync with iCloud.
    4. Slide the toggle switch for each data type to the “ON” position to enable syncing for that data type. For example, slide the “Mail” toggle to “ON” to enable Mail syncing. Configure your contacts, Safari bookmarks, reminders and additional data types, as desired. ICloud is now set up and ready to use with your iPad.
    5. Open the iCloud Control Panel application on the PC. The Apple ID prompt opens. Type your Apple ID and password. Enter the same Apple ID you entered on the iPad. The iCloud Control Center syncing dialog box displays.
    6. Click the “Mail, Contacts, Calendars and Tasks” check box in the dialog box, then click the “Apply” button. Your iPad is now configured to automatically sync with your PC through iCloud.

    ITunes

    1. Connect the iPad to your computer with the USB data cable. Launch iTunes on the computer, if the application does not automatically start.
    2. Click “Device,” then click the entry for the iPad. Click the “Info” tab in the top menu. Note that the Info tab only displays if you have contact or calendar data stored on the device or on your computer.
    3. Click the check box next to the “Sync Contacts With” option, then click the drop-down box. Click the entry for the application you use on the computer to manage your contacts. For example, if you use Outlook on the computer, click the “Outlook” option. A list of your Outlook contact folders appears below the drop-down box.
    4. Click the “All Contacts” radio button to sync all contacts, or click the “Selected Contacts” radio button, then click each contact folder to sync in the Selected Contacts list.
    5. Click the check box next to the “Sync Calendars With” option, then click the drop-down box. Click the entry for the application you use to manage your calendars on the computer. A list of your calendars displays below the drop-down box
    6. Click the “All Calendars” radio button to sync all Outlook calendars, or click the “Selected Calendars” radio button, then click each calendar to sync in the Selected Calendars list.
    7. Check the “Do Not Sync Events Older Than” check box, then type the number of days worth of events to sync.
    8. Click “Apply.” Your iPad data is configured to sync with your computer using iTunes when the tablet is connected to the computer.
    9. Click the “Apps” option on the top menu, then click an app in the File Sharing section in the left menu panel. A list of file sharing apps displays. Click an app in the left menu, then click files to sync in the right panel.
    10. Click the “Music” option in the top menu, then drag and drop music tracks into your iTunes Music library.
    11. Click “Sync.” The files immediately transfer to the iPad.
    12. Disconnect the iPad from the USB cable.

See how to connect and browse your iPad:

What you can sync with iTunes

Albums, songs, playlists, movies, TV shows, books, podcasts, and audiobooks.

Photos and videos. To sync photos and videos using iTunes, you can use a supported photos app or sync from a specific folder on your computer. Learn more about how to keep your photos and videos up to date on all of your devices.

    Contacts and calendars.

Device backups that you made using iTunes.

iTunes features might vary by country or region.

    Sync your content with iTunes

Follow these steps to manually sync the content from your computer to your iOS device:

Open iTunes. Make sure that you have the latest version.[https://support.apple.com/kb/HT201352](https://support.apple.com/kb/HT201352)

Connect your device to your computer using the included USB cable. Your connected device appears as an icon in the upper-left corner of the iTunes window. Learn what to do if you don't see the icon. [https://support.apple.com/kb/HT203979](https://support.apple.com/kb/HT203979)

Click on the device icon . Look under Settings on the left side of the iTunes window for a list of the content types that you can sync from your iTunes library to your device.

If you don't have certain content in your iTunes library, you might not see some tabs. For example, if you don't have any podcasts in your library, you won't see a Podcast tab.

iTunes can't sync certain content, including mail accounts, notes, or bookmarks. Use iCloud to manage your mail, notes, and bookmarks across your devices. Some iOS apps might use iTunes's File Sharing feature to transfer content instead of syncing. [http://help.apple.com/icloud/](http://help.apple.com/icloud/)

Click the content type that you want to sync.

In the main iTunes window, click the box next to Sync to turn on syncing for that content type. If there's a check in the box, syncing for that content type is already on.

If you see a message that your iOS device is synced with another iTunes library after clicking the box, your iOS device was previously connected to another computer. If you click "Erase and Sync" in that message, all content of the selected type on your iOS device is replaced with content from your computer. Content that you didn't turn on syncing for isn't deleted from your iOS device. You can only sync your iOS device with one iTunes library at a time.

After you turn on syncing for a content type, you'll see additional options to customize your sync settings. Use these options to make sure that you're syncing the content that you want synced.

Repeat steps 4–6 for each content type that you want to sync.

Click the Apply button in the lower-right corner of the screen to save your sync settings. If syncing doesn't start automatically, click the Sync button.

After you turn on syncing, your content syncs each time that you connect your iOS device to your computer and have iTunes open.

If you see a message that some of your content couldn't sync, your computer might not be authorized for that type of content. Make sure that your computer is authorized for the content that you're trying to sync.
