I have some personal videos on DVD.  How do I put them onto my computer's hard drive with Windows 10?

    Hi ciliegia,

If they are personal videos and you just want to copy them to your PC, Open Windows File Explorer and simply drag the Video TS folder from the DVD into a new folder on your PC (no need to bring the Audio TS folder over - it is empty!

If you want to convert the DVD to a video format, use something like Format Factory, which will rip the DVD's onto your hard drive in MP4, AVI . . . etc. format

I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 8 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

Easiest method is to use the highly regarded freeware VLC Media Player to rip the DVD's to PC. See the guide here: https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/2696/how-to-rip...

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
