I have IDriver.exe & IDriver2.exe on my Toshiba A305-S9605 laptop, I am not sure why, my computer has been running slow with high CPU usage & I have been doing scans etc to try too pinpoint it. deleted unused programs, did all the sfc / dism stuff etc. with no help. any sugestions I know its a installer.exe  program used by some older programs but don't want to delete it yet. Do I need both?

    Hi,

Yes, you could remove it. In our knowledge, these are residual files from an installer you've previously used. But, it might not help in optimizing your PC's speed. You could try using the Microsoft Easy fix tool for speed and performance optmization in order to optimize your PC's speed and performance. You can download the tool by clicking here.

Thanks I did remove both IDriver.exe programs from my PC, I then found out that my IOLO System Mechanic Pro [Now Phoenix 360] did not work properly. They are part of "System Shield Anti-Virus program in Sys. Mech. I will reinstall system Mechanic later. I also tried the link for Micro$oft easy fix it tool but got the error "this is not compatible with your version of windows" 1709 OS 16299.214.

Thanks for the information & quick reply. At least I know what it is now lol.
