    Do this

    Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\System

or right click This PC icon on desktop

    advanced system settings

    advanced tab

    performance-settings

    advanced

    virtual memory/pagefile>.change

then tell me what the current allocated is, total being used is

You do not want to disable this. You can reduce the size, but lets see what it is set to.

I realize that deleting the pagefile will cause big problems to the OS.

what i mean is reading the article carefully and MOVE the file to another drive

    thanks

Why didn't you say that then?  What you said was ...i think you can safelydelete the pagefile.sys.

Please just allow the OP to respond without further confusing things, thank you.

    Dear Jim

    Hi there

    Oh ya I forgot

It is quite small - 118 gb

but as i recall I dont really put to much things on my local disk C

    Thanks

    Sam

That is small.  Do you have any other drives or partitions available?  The paging file can be movedto a different drive or partition.  Could you open Disk Management (Windows key + x) , take a screenshot and post it here?

You've given us everything except the relevant information:  What is the size of the hard drive or system partition?
