Please tell me how to correct this  problem.  I am also losing Internet connection within minutes of logging on line.

Thank you,

Pat

    Hi Patricia,

There may be a corruption in the folder where Windows Update stores the downloaded files. When this happens, you won't be able to install security updates for your computer. If you are experiencing issues installing or downloading updates, you may refer to this article on how to reset Windows Update components. The article includes steps on how to manually reset the update components and also a guided walk-through to help you resolve Windows Update issues.

Once Windows Update is fixed, we recommend that you check for the latest network adapter driver and install it and check if the issue with your Internet connection persists.

Let us know if you need more help.

The FIREFOX works good but it takes a long time.  I don't know how to put this "VIEW FAVORITES" onto a different FIREFOX so I can see everything! This INTERNET EXPLORER is losing Internet connection within minutes of logging on line.

There is what I talk about,

One or more Windows Update components are configured incorrectly!  OK, how can I get this fixed?

Thank you for talking on this!

    Larry
