I can't find a driver that will work for this scanner. HP does not support it anymore. I downloaded the same one from 3 different driver sites, and it will not work. Does anyone have any suggestions.?

I guess if you really want that scanner you could install the last OS you own that supports it (XP, 7) in a partition you shrink from C which will configure a Dual Boot so you can access it to scan? http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/wiki...

The scanner was last supported in XP.
If you plug in the scanner does Windows recognize it and load a driver? Check at Settings > Devices > Printers and Scanners.
If so can you type Fax and Scan in Start Search, open the Windows Fax and Scan utility, then click on New Scan to see if it has enough of a Windows driver to provide rudimentary scanning from here?

One possible saving grace is it is supported by VueScan which provides drivers and support from older
