Printing PDF double side

I can no longer print a PDF document on both sides of the paper. I am running Windows 10. I used to be able to do this and now I can't. It was also happening in Word, but I changed a setting that Windows messed up on an update. Is there some setting that has gotten messed up with Adobe Acrobat Reader that is blocking me from printing both sides of the paper? This is so frustrating with your Windows program. Really tired of this garbage.

This makes no sense to me. The file I am trying to print is one I downloaded and saved to my computer. I do not get the dialog box that allows me to choose double sided printing.

Well, I beg to differ. Windows update over rides my settings inside of the print preferences. Your documentation states that clearly when I had to search for the answer as to why I could not duplex print through Microsoft word. I just reloaded the driver for my printer and have resolved the issue.

Now my next issue that the update messed up is the my audio settings. I was able to listen to audio when I had my second monitor plugged into my laptop, but now I have to unplug it to get the sound to work. This is a windows update issue.

I believe it is time Microsoft starts listening and taking responsibility for what it is doing and stop passing the buck to others. But you and I both know that that will never happen.

    Really tired of this garbage.

-> Let's leave the emotions out of this. When you use Acrobat Reader to open your .pdf files (instead of saving them as .pdf while in Word) then you will see a tick box for double-sided printing.

Double-sided printing is controlled by your printer driver. Nothing to do with Windows.

Most printer drivers expose their settings in Control Panel > Printers and Devices; right-click on the icon for your printer and choose Printing Preferences from the context menu. Direct further complaints to your printer's technical support group.
