Hi David,
The concern usually is caused by incompatibilities with the driver and your device. The key is to have the device paired, not just connected. To make sure, please follow these steps:
- Right click on the Bluetoothicon on your task bar. If you can't see it, click the arrow-like icon pointing upwards on the bottom right corner of your screen nearby the time and date of your PC.
- Then select Add to Personal Area Network.
- A new window will appear. On the top-left corner of the window, click on Add new Bluetooth device.
- Now turn your 3rd party device's Bluetooth on, usually on device's such as speakers and/or headsets, you'll have to press the Bluetooth icon one more time to make it discover-able.
- Your PC will now search for discover-able devices. Once your device appears click on it, then click Next.
- Follow the next steps that will be provided by your PC. If you were asked for a PIN, just leave it blank then click Next.

Jonas,
Thanks for your response. Following your directions, I am able to connect windows 10 to the minijambox, but music does not play through the jambox with the bluetooth connection. Looking at audio in the control panel, the only device available is RealTek
which directs sound to the headphone connection on the PC.
The instruction manual that came with the jambox states that one should use their app to make the connection, but looking at the Microsoft store I cannot find an app. I believe the app is only available for Android or mac operating systems.
The minijambox has an audio input which can connect to the headphone output on the PC. So I will use that connection instead of the Bluetooth for sound.
Thanks for your help.
David
