laptop keyboard sensitivity

Hello, I was wondering if there is any way to make my keyboard more sensitive?   I have had to use an unnecessary amount of force when typing, especially when typing, making papers take 3 times as long when I'm typing on another computer.   I also have to type extremely slowly, or else it doesn't register 3-5 letters, and especially with spaces and repeated letters, like the "pp" in "happening".   I am also on a laptop, so I can't really replace the keyboard.

Thanks!

    Hi Jacob,

You can change the keyboard's sensitivity, also known as the keyboard's repeat rate through Keyboard properties.

    Here's how:

    1. Open Control Panel.
    2. Go to Ease of Access Center.
    3. Under Explore all settings, click on Make the keyboard easier to use.
    4. Under See also, click on Keyboard settings to open Keyboard Properties.
    5. In the Speed tab, under Character repeat, adjust the Repeat delay and Repeat rate to your preference. There is a text box available so you can test out the changes you've made.

We hope this helps. Should you need further assistance, let us know.
