Personally, I use and recommend uBlock Origin which is much more than an advertisment blocker.

My favorite browser is Firefox and my preferred search engine is DuckDuckGo.

    What browser are you using?

I use AdBlock Plus (Free). But MS seems intent on stopping it so every now and then (sometimes after WUs) it disappears and I have to reinstall it.

There's a free version in Windows Store (Tools & Utilities).

I suggest trying that first and later search for the bigger (free) version. You'll never stop them all - MS earns too much money from them (cookies).

    Hoping this helps.

PS In your Control Panel there's a link to a Pop-Up Blocker yo may wish to use.
