Windows 10 Activation Product key error: 0xc004c060

Hello!

I have just recently built my PC and tried to install my digital copy of windows 10. Though every time I try to input my product key, the same error as you see above displays. Anything I can do to fix this? I know I have the valid product key for this version of windows 10 pro. I've included a screenshot of the pop up menu that displays after going into Windows Powershell.

Thank you for any help that I can receive from this.

    Hi Andrew,

I'm here to help. Error 0xC004C060 can occur if you entered a product key that can no longer be used to activate Windows, upgraded to Windows 10 but the activation servers were busy, or if you upgraded to Windows 10 using the free upgrade offer but Windows 10 isn't activated after a reinstall. As initial troubleshooting, I suggest that you run the Activation troubleshooter. This resolves most activation errors. To use the troubleshooter, go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Activation, and then select Troubleshoot.

If the issue still persists even after using the troubleshooter, it is best to get in touch with our Answer Desk team to have this issue sorted out. They can check the product key you have to ensure that it can be used to activate Windows 10 Pro. You may contact our Answer Desk team via call or chat here.

    Keep us in the loop.
