Windows 10 ProVersion 10.0.14393 Build 14393 Won't Update Properly

My computer repeatedly tries to use Windows 10 Update Assistant to update to version 1607 (I think this is the Fall Creator Edition).  It downloads the update properly but during installation gets stuck each time at 82% complete.  I have to eventually manually turn off my machine and the update fails and returns my machine to its "previous version of windows."  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Many thanks for the update. Just to verify, have you tried installing the Windows Update again after running the Windows Update Troubleshooter? If yes, are you getting the same issue?

In the event that the above steps doesn't suffice, we'd recommend configuring the Windows Update services and set the option to auto via Command Prompt (Admin). Here's how:

    1. In the Search box, type cmd, right-click the result and select Run as administrator.
    2. Once the Command Prompt starts, copy and paste the following commands and press Enter after each line in order to run it:

    SC config wuauserv start= auto

    SC config bits start= auto

    SC config cryptsvc start= auto

SC config trustedinstaller start= auto 3. Once done, restart your device to apply the changes and try to install the Windows Update again.

Feel free to post back for an update with the outcome and let us know if you need more help.
