Disabling Windows Compatability Telemetry

Does anybody know how to stop the Windows Compatability Telemetry (CompatTelRunner.exe) from starting? It causes extremely high disk usage which results in large performance issues.

    Sometimes ago i also facing this issue and tried almost every method but Finally, this was worked for me.

    There is no such option in Windows 10 at the location at the end of this, another, garden path..

    Oh, I had no idea that option existed. However that wasn't the issue for me because it was set to basic by my school (this is my own computer but I am using a copy of Office 365 that they gave me for free, it take over some privacy settings and disables sending typing data to improve predictions and apparently setting telemetry to basic.

    Ok, no malicious content - but the effect is very similar to having malware or a virus in your system.
