    Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion.  Up to this point, I've been too busy to try it.  Strangely enough, after a Windows Update yesterday I no longer am getting the error.

    Hello,

Have you tried the troubleshooting steps that Rohn007 provided in his post last December 2? If you did, can you tell us the results?

A corrupted user account is also a possible cause for the RuntimeBroker.exe - Application Errorto occur. For further isolation, we advise creating a new user account and monitor if the same issue continues. Name the new account as "Test" for distinction. Kindly follow the steps from this support article on how to create a user account in Windows 10.

Please respond back with the results.

    Hi,

There's a possibility that an installed software is causing the error message to pop-up. That being said, we recommend performing a clean boot to identify possible software conflict when using your Windows 10 device. A clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you use your Windows device. Follow the steps outlined in this support article on how to perform a clean boot.

NOTE: Please go to the section: Reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting to boot the PC in normal startup after fixing the issue.

We'll be waiting for the results.
