Why do I get the Error code: 0x80070032 when I try to open windows 10? when I get this error message I have to "shut down" several times and restart, but each time windows 10 reopens and asks for my logon "pin", I enter my PIN and get message "...something happened try another login authentication method...". after repeated shut downs and attempted restarts, windows 10 login accepts my PIN and windows open.

    Hi,

    Error code 0x80070032 is usually related to signing in to your device and sometimes has to do with PIN issues. Can you get to the sign-in screen but unable to input your PIN for some reason?

    Try to sign in with your password and see if you can log in successfully. If the problem is only with the PIN, we need to reset your PIN, you can follow the steps below:

    1. Open Settings by pressing Windows key + I on your keyboard, then go to Accounts > Sign-in options.
    2. Click I forgot my PIN. A new window would appear confirming if you want to reset your PIN. Click Continue.
    3. Enter your Microsoft account password and then set up the new PIN.

    If the error would still appear, the next step is to delete the NGC folder which is a proven in fully resolving this issue. Make sure that your account has full administrator privileges and follow these steps:

     1.Open File Explorer by pressing Windows key + E on your keyboard. Copy and paste this command on the address bar:

             C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\NGC

    1. Delete everything within that folder.
    2. Go to Settings-> Accounts->Sign-in Options.
    3. Click Add a PIN again and set your PIN.
    4. PIN sign in should work going forward

    Make sure that when you search for the AppData folder that under the View tab, you check the Hidden Items.

    However, you might still have problems deleting the NGC folder - as I am also having problems deleting this folder.
