You can use the CleanWipe utility to remove it:

    Hi Uchenna,

Symantec for as long as I can remember hasn’t always been easy to remove. The first step however should be going to control panel, programs and features, finding the components on the list, and uninstalling from there.

If there are issues that arise, below is the link to the CleanWipe tool by Symantec that should remove anything that is left behind.

Let me know if this helps!

Hi UCHENNA, Symantec End User Protection is extremely hard to remove and needs to be removed manually, since it does not have an ununstaller per say . . .

To uninstall the Symantec Endpoint Protection client for Windows

In the console, on the Admin page, click Install Packages, and then click Client Install Settings.

Under Tasks, click Add Client Install Settings.

    Note:

If you have previously created a custom client installation settings configuration, you can modify it under Tasks, and then click Edit Client Install Settings. Modifying an existing custom configuration does not modify previously exported install packages.

On the Basic Settings tab, check Remove existing Symantec Endpoint Protection client software that cannot be uninstalled.

Read the message, and then click OK.

    Click OK.
