Deleting Windows App folders safely

Hi. I recently installed the World of Warships app from the Microsoft Store and selected local Disk D drive as the install point. Though i have successfully deleted the WpSystem and WUDownloadCache folders, I am unable to delete the WindowsApps folder. I may have modified the WindowsApps access permissions. I was trying to free up space on my hard drive. Please help me restore the system's settings to default (before the World of Warships installation) without damaging the Operating System or Hard Drive.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your concern. WindowsApps folder is a protected folder on the system. We do not recommend to remove it since it will affect the applications installed on your computer. If you want to free up some space, you can head over to this link for more instructions. You can also perform Disk Cleanup to delete junks on your computer.

If you want to restore the system settings, you can perform a system restore. It will let you get back to the where your computer created a restore point saved on the driver. You can visit this link for more information and the complete instructions. (Choose Restore from a system restore point.)

Let us know how it goes.
