It didn't work for me, any of the methods. I am trying to install Final Draft 8 myself and Error 1721 continues. When I attempt to uninstall, gives the same error. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Error 1721
I was trying to install Final Draft on a new Lenovo Yoga, but the installation could not complete because of Error 1721. It says "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." Since the install was interrupted, I tried to uninstall the program to start over, but the same error box comes up whenever I try to uninstall the program. So now Final Draft won't open, but won't delete either. Can you help?
Thank you!

2018-03-16T01:54:11+00:00 By the way, on method 3, I am unable to set to Automatic by right-clicking on the properties. This is a personal machine and not company owned or managed so I would think it should have worked but that ability is not highlighted for me.
Right-click and select Properties, set the startup type to Automatic.
