How Do You Record Your Windows 8 screen?

so i always try to get screen recorders to only find out they dont work for screen and audio and i was wondering if you can record a windows 8 screen WITHOUT downloading any software.

    Hi Alex,

    There are no such apps in Windows 8 for you to record videos. There should be other software/apps out there that has that functionality. There is, however, a way for you to record your actions and a screenshot on what you're doing on your Windows 8 device. Steps Recorder is mostly used for us to record actions being done by our customers before an issue happens. This way we can have a better idea on what is happening on their end before the issue gets triggered. Here's an article on how to use this utility tool. This may not be the exact one you're looking for but this may be of somewhat help.
