When editing my certificate profile I get the on screen error "50040: Sorry, we are having a service interruption and we are unable to complete your transaction. Please contact customer support."

*furthermore the browser console reports the following when trying to submit my edited profile.

https://api-examregistration.prod.mscert.microsoft.com==>{"messageType":"AJAX_FAILURE","messageId":10,"statusText":"error","statusCode":500,"statusMessage":"Internal Server Error","responseText":"[{\"ErrorCode\":0,\"ErrorMessage\":\"User Profile is not saved.System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.\r\n at ExamRegistration.Services.UserService.SaveUserMasterProfileInternal(UserMasterProfile masterProfile, ValidationValues validationFlags) in D:\\a\\1\\s\\Services\\ExamRegistration.Services\\Ex*

previous profile data is reported above that in the console as well.

Thank you in advance,

Erik

Hi @Erik Bohn ,

Please note that Microsoft Certification / Exams is currently not supported in the Q&A forums, the supported products are listed over here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/products.

You can ask the experts in the dedicated Certification Profile forum over here:
