    Hello Addison,

For you to be able to upgrade your phone to Windows 10 mobile, we recommend that you use the Upgrade Advisor app, it will tell you if your Windows Phone 8.1 device is eligible for upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile. If your device is eligible, Upgrade Advisor can help free up space on your device to prepare for installation.

Let us know if you need any additional information or clarifications.

I have recently updated my Lumia 640 from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10.  Now, I can access Facebook OK but cannot access FB Messenger or Skype.

When I try to log in to Messenger, I get the message "Can't log in right now.  REST API is deprecated for versions v2.1 and higher (12)".  I have been getting this message recently with W8.1 and had been advised that upgrading to W10 would solve the problem.

When I try to log in to Skype, I get the message "Oops, please check your network settings and try again".  The phone is connected by wifi to my home network; when I go to 'settings', nothing seems amiss.

What do you suggest I do?
