Most medical images require a special viewer.  Typically, the doctor's office will include the viewer on the CD/DVD that they give you with the image(s).

Put the disk in your CD/DVD drive on your computer.  If it doesn't automatically start to play, click Start, then click "Computer," and double-click the icon for your CD/DVD drive.

You'll have to look through the list of files for something that looks like a viewer.  You should be able to determine this from the name.  Double-click to start the viewer application.

If you can't figure it out, get to the point where you have the contents of the disk shown in Windows Explorer (the file manager, not the Internet browser), take a screenshot and include it in your reply here.  See the following directions:  https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_other-windows_programs/how-to-include-a-screenshot-in-your-post/2594b08e-32a3-476a-85a6-b021181be7e4

When you insert the CD or DVD into the computer, the "AutoPlay" window may open.  If it does and you see something that looks like it will start a program, click that option.  Otherwise, click the option to open files using Windows Explorer.

If the "AutoPlay" window did NOT open, then on your Desktop, click the "Start Orb" or "Start Button" and then click "Computer" (or press the "Windows Logo" key and the E key simultaneously).

This will open Windows Explorer.  Either way, double-click on the icon for your DVD/CD drive.  This may start the viewing program.  If not, it should show the files on the CD/DVD, like this (this DVD has CT scans rather than Xrays, but the idea should be the same):

Look for an "Application" in the list of files.  In this example, it is DCSSTART.EXE (depending on how your system is configured, you might not see the part of file names after the dot.  That is, you might only see DCSSTART.

This is the screen I asked you to take a "screenshot" of if you cant identify what the program is that you need to use.
