Age Empires Definitive Edition won't launch

I had the same issue but I solved it by doing the following:

• Click Start
• Search for and Open Services
• Scroll down to Windows PushToInstall Service
• Right click and select Properties
• Change Startup Type to Automatic
• Then Click Start if this service is not started

    - If it is already running click Stop then click Start for the Windows PushToInstall Service

• Let it start then click Ok and close services
• Try launch Age again

I see no help, so I assume I must request a refund and uninstalling

BTW well done Microsoft, thanks God for Steam. Almost a month after a release and there is no fix, GG. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GAME IN THIS SH** STORE.

I've done all the suggestions and still can't get the game to boot , how do i reinstall it ?

Issues with launching the Age of Empires: Definitive Edition may occur if your PC does not meet the minimum or recommended system requirements for the game. The minimum requirements will allow you to play on your computer. For a better experience, your computer should meet the recommended system requirements for the game. If there is an X mark, that means your PC does not meet that specific requirement where the X mark is located.

If your PC meets the system requirements needed for the game, you may perform the suggested solutions below:

Solution 1. Click on this link for the steps to perform a clean boot. This process will start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows 10. 

Solution 2. Reset the game from the Settings menu. This process can help restore corrupted game installation files.  

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard, and then click the Settings icon.
2. Select System, and then select Apps & features.
3. Find the game, and then click on Advanced options.
4. Click Reset.
5. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Solution 3. Remove temporary files.   

Temporary files are automatically deleted after exiting an application or a game. However, restarting your computer without exiting an active Windows session won't delete temporary files. These files may cause issues running games on Windows 10.     

1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard, and then click the Settings icon.
2. Select System, and then select Storage.
3. Select This PC and click on Temporary files.
4. Select Temporary files.
5. Click Remove files.
6. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Solution 4. Make sure that you install all the critical and important Windows Updates on your PC by following the steps on this link.

Solution 5. Update the graphics card drivers.

1. Select the Start button, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.
2. Expand one of the categories to find the name of your device, then right-click (or tap and hold) it, and select Update Driver. For graphics cards, expand the Display adapters category, right-click your graphics card and select Update Driver.
3. Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
4. If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.

If these steps don't work, try reinstalling the driver:

1. Open the Device Manager.
2. Right-click (or tap and hold) the name of the device.
3. Select Uninstall.
4. Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
5. Launch the game again.
