The program itself is removed, but it won't actually move your files when removing the sync engine program. For that, you just have to manually drag-and-drop the files somewhere else (if you want to keep them), then delete the OneDrive folder.
Unable to uninstall OneDrive in Windows 7 Professional
I do not use OneDrive and want to uninstall it because it may be interfering with my Google Backup and Sync application. It appeared in Control Panel > Uninstall a Program, but when I selected it, it would not uninstall, and I got a message to the effect that there was no such application, but I could delete it from the list of installed programs. I deleted it from the list, which created a broken shortcut in my Start menu that does not launch the application. However, the application .exe file and related folders and files do exist in a OneDrive folder, located at Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Users > [Name of computer] > AppData > Local > Microsoft > OneDrive. Simply recycling the OneDrive folder will not uninstall the application. How do I uninstall it?
