    usually in browser, type in

    192.168.0.1

    or

    192.168.0.255

in modem/router or Router wireless settings, turn on SSID

    SSID SETUP

    Broadcast SSID "ON"

    reboot modem, restart all pc's

If you have a separate router connected to modem, then you will need a user and password to most likely access it. Look in your router manual or look online.

Connect to hidden network. Go to Settings / Network / Wi-Fi / Manage known networks.

Addition to Security key you have to know Network name (SSID).

    Hi Liz,

The wireless network you’re trying to connect to is hidden? Is it your network? You’d go into your wireless router and unhide the network if it already exists, then it should display in your wireless network list.

Give me a little more info and we’ll figure this one out!

    Let me know!

    Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you, If your network is hidden then it means that SSID of that network is not broadcasting, In this case you don't have to un-hide it, you just need the SSID, the Password and the WPA2 encryption method, to connect to this network

Please let me know, if that helps and feel free to ask back any question.

    Kind Regards:

    Yasir
