I'm attempting to install services for Unix on my HP Envy x360 from a guide available on https://goo.gl/wKWma8 .

My computer does not have a CD-ROM drive for Step 1.

What alternative step might be available?

Services for UNIX Is not supported on Windows 10. You should instead use the Windows 10 Subsystem for Linux, which you can easily enable by going to the Microsoft Store then download Ubuntu for Windows 10.

The last version of Windows to include the subsystem for UNIX was Windows 7 I believe.
