You could be right that your Product Key is already acknowledged by MS (since 2006), but the fact that you are only able to fly for thirty minutes indicates that your copy of FSX does not recognise that any activation has taken place. It may be that your multiple re-installs of FSX, or an MS update, etc. may now be giving you this problem.
You could also check here: launch your FSX and start a flight, any flight. Then go to your Menu bar and click on Help and then click on About Microsoft Flight Simulator. Do you see a Product ID number there (it will be a long series of numbers and this is not your Product Key)? If there is one there, then that indicates that your copy of FSX is activated. Those that don't have this number showing, do not have activated simulators.
If after all you have done, you still can't fly for more than thirty minutes (even though you believe that FSX is activated), then my only suggestion is to switch over to FSX-Steam Edition, which is produced by Dovetail Games and is basically FSX Deluxe with the Acceleration pack. DTG, under limited licence from MS, have updated FSX on several fronts, making it more suitable for later Windows versions. FSX, in its present form, will probably one day no longer function in later Windows Operating Systems and we will all need to switch over to another Flt. Sim platform.
You can read about FSX-SE, its features (particularly that it is downloadable and no activation key is required!), and its low cost. https://store.steampowered.com/app/314160/Microsoft\_Flight\_Simulator\_X\_Steam\_Edition/
Sometimes DTG offer it at a Special price. Other very good Sims are Prepar3d (by Lockheed Martin) and X-Plane, but these are more costly.
