    Hello,

You might be experiencing this issue because the installer is not running with administrator rights. The installer might need these rights to make changes. In line with this, let's try running the installer with administrator rights. Here's how:

    1. Open File Explorer and navigate to the VMWare Workstation Pro installation folder. (If you have downloaded it from the Internet, it might be located in the Downloads folder.)
    2. Look for the installer executable file (ie. setup.exe) and right-click on it.
    3. Choose Run As Administrator.
    4. If you see a User Account Control prompt, accept it.

If the issue persists, we suggest that you reach out to VMWare for further support. Here is their official support article about this error: Setup cannot continue. The Microsoft Runtime DLL installer failed. Regarding the Virtual box error, we also recommend that you reach out to Virtual box support.

If you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to post a reply.

Prior posting here, I have tried all this steps but it didn't worked for me.Even in the bios settings i have checked the virtualization whether it is enabled or not and found that it is already enabled. The problem still persist.I have installed VMWare earlier with Ubuntu but recently due to the hard disk change i have lost it and after that i am unable to do it.My OS was crashed which leaded me to change the  HDD.Whether this is a reason of not booting??
