    Hi Mikael,

To better facilitate your concern, I'd like to verify if the issue persists. If so, I'd recommend accessing the UEFI and look for Reset or Return to Default. In this way, we can be assured that any misconfigured settings on it would be corrected.

If you're not comfortable with troubleshooting BIOS, you can contact the manufacturer of your device to be assisted on this.

Important: Modifying BIOS/ complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.

Let us know if you need further assistance, we’ll be glad to assist you.

I appreciate your prompt response. Just to verify, does the brand of your SSD is Intel SSD 600p Series or Intel SSD Pro 6000p Series? If so, I'd like to inform you that we have an ongoing issue with this type of SSD that repeatedly enter UEFI screen after restart. As of this moment, we are working with OEM partners and Intel to identify and block devices with the said Intel SSD Series from installing the April 2018 Update. Since you're encountering the same issue, I'd recommend checking if you can restore your PC to factory settings. This is to reinstall the version of Windows that came with your PC. To be guided on this, click on this link, expand the Go back to your previous version of Windows selection and follow the steps under If go back isn't available section.

We are working on a resolution that will be provided in an upcoming release. Having said that, I'd recommend to temporarily hide the update to prevent it from installing. To do this, click on this link and follow the steps provided in it. Also, kindly check this link from time to time, to view any latest available Windows Update (later than KB4103721). I'd recommend installing the new release Windows Update as soon as it's available.

In any case that you're not using the same brand of SSD, I'd like to know the brand of your SSD.

We'll keep an eye out for your response.

Many thanks for the update. To isolate your concern, I’d like to verify how did you install Windows 10 1803 update? Also, does your device still have an option to roll back to the previous version of Windows 10? To check, press Windows + I keys to open the Settings app and then click the Update & security options. On the Update & security screen, switch to the Recovery tab, and then click the Get started button under the Go back to an earlier build section. Try to roll back to the previous version of Windows 10 and check If the issue persists.

Your reply is most important for us to ensure we assist you accordingly.
