What is System and inst.exe in Windows 10 And Why there Internet Data Usage is More with no reason.

    Hi,

    As what is shown on the screenshot that you've provided, inst.exe might be a possible 3rd party application running on the background of your PC and you can remove it using this tool. Also, System is the whole usage while you are using your PC.

    Hello,

    System.ini is a command that's a part of Advanced Msconfig and you can check out this helpful article for more information.

    Please run your Windows Defender to check the inst.exe file because it's an executable file that may probably harm your computer. You can also schedule a scan on your own time using these steps:

    1. Search for and open Schedule tasks.
    2. In the left pane, expand Task Scheduler Library > Microsoft > Windows and then scroll down and double-click the Windows Defender folder.
    3. In the top-center pane, double-click Windows Defender Scheduled Scan.
    4. Select the Triggers tab, and then select New.
    5. Set your time and frequency, and then select OK.
