DLG_FLAGS_INVALID_CA on every website when connected to public network.

When I attempt to use a public network, such as my school or the bus WiFi, I get security errors regardless of the page I visit. I am on Windows 10 with a Surface Pro 3. This occurs with every browser, as I have tried it with Edge, Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer. When using Edge, clicking on the 'Go on to the webpage' causes the website to reload, but nothing changes, and the webpage remains on the error code: 'DLG_FLAGS_INVALID_CA, DLG_FLAGS_SEC_CERT_CN_INVALID.' It does not happen for my home network. Attempting to use web-based applications such as Discord is also unsuccessful.

The error states 'Your PC doesn't trust this website's security certificate. The hostname in the website's security certificate differs from the website you are trying to visit.' The internet options in the tool-bar on the bottom-right state 'No Internet, open' when I am connected. This is a relatively recent problem. I'm not sure, but this has perhaps been happening since the latest Windows update.

Though my reply may be too late, someone else passing by may find this useful.

Try to check your date and time on your PC. Incorrect date or time is one of the most common reasons for certificate error to happen. You may also want to try this: Error Code DLG_FLAGS_INVALID_CA Windows 10

Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem, as the error still comes up.

Hello, thanks for the response. I am not signing it at any point during the process. Furthermore, this error comes up for every single website, even the school websites and Google search.

I could not click on 'go on to the webpage' as the link advised, as this just reloaded the error. I attempted to clear cache on Chrome and Edge, but I found that this did not do anything for either browser, and I was still getting the error.  I suspect it might be an administrator problem, so I plan to talk to my school's IT technician and ask for assistance. I will reply to this post if this was what cause the connection problem.

Do you access the Internet on your school network using a school account?

If so, there might be a restriction on the type of content you can access and browse while on the school network.
