Win 10 Machine no longer will look at the MSHOME network.

I have a local network called MSHOME. It's been working fine for over a year. I have three Win10 machines and two Win XP machines on this network. (Can't upgrade the two XP machines due to hardware connected to them isn't capable with WIN 10). One WIN 10 machine (projectorPC) is only used every 3 or 4 months. It's usually turned OFF in between uses. This last time I turned it on to use it, WIN10 had an UPDATE that after which, it no longer SEES the other devices on the MSHOME network. It has FULL access to the internet through the same router yet it will not connect to the other PC's on this network. Going to the Computer/domain/Network section under domain name it still shows that this computer is assigned to MSHOME. I cannot get it to see the other computers on this network. I CAN go to the other computers and SEE that this computer (projectorPC) is ON the network.

What do I do to get this projectorPC to regain full connectivity with this network?

    Andre,

Thank you for the response. Although you were quite prompt in your response, I didn't have a chance to go over this info on the projectorPC until today. Before I even started to look at your steps, I checked... Low and Behold, I could see my other computers on the network again.

I have NO CLUE why. I had left this computer on for about two weeks and when I got back to it, all was normal again...

I did go through your steps and confirmed settings and all seemed normal.

Again, thanks for your prompt reply.

    Dave

First, check to make sure the network profile is set to public.

    https://www.groovypost.com/howto/change-network...

Open Start > Settings > Network & Internet > Status

    Scroll to the bottom

    Click Network and Sharing Center

    Click Change advanced sharing settings

    Expand All Networks

    Under Password protected sharing

Switch between 'Turn on password protected sharing and Turn off password protected sharing'

Then choose 'Turn off password protected sharing'

    Then click 'Save changes'

Go over the following to make sure they are properly setup:
