Are we talking about the same thing? I successfully uninstalled Chrome, but the one I’m referring to is called Chromium and its got the same icon shape as Chrome but its all blue. Its definitely malware. Every time I restart the computer it pops up, looks like a browser. I can’t uninstall it the old fashioned way. It says ‘Unavailable’ when you pull up the list of apps to uninstall it. I already used malwarebytes and it doesnt remove it. I used windows scan too. And i need to know another way to FORCE uninstall it. Excuse typos im on a phone..
I can't uninstall Chromium!
Please tell me how to ACTUALLY uninstall the malware Chromium. Don't say "Go to Apps and click on the app and then click uninstall" because it doesn't work. I should not have to install a removal tool. PLEASE, only someone who has successfully uninstalled Chromium on a Windows 10 OS, tell me what to do. I am frustrated.

2018-04-13T05:18:20+00:00 I used Cortana, type uninstall chrome, then select the desired tab. Good Luck, the "techs" at Driver Restore have got to be the worst customer service people in the world. They installed Google Chrome, according to the first Senior tech, to update my Drivers. I told them if I wanted Chrome I would have installed it. Chrome was to be deleted (uninstalled) when they were finished updating my drives. Yeah, I had to delete chrome and enable my security programs. If you got chrome the same way, be sure to check your security programs.

2018-04-13T19:45:33+00:00 Looks like a real pain, but unfortunately from what I read to get rid of all traces you will have to install removal tools. I read that it's an open source browser... I don't know that much about Chromium, but here are a couple of sites that may help.

There are quite a few steps involved so you'll have to have a lot of patience...
Good Luck!
