    Hello Geraldine,

You can use  Resource Monitor to check the network activity in Windows 7. To do this, press Windows logo+R, type Resmon.exe and press Enter to open Resource Monitor, then click the Network tab.

Let me know how it goes.

    Thanks Marie Ave.

I have reviewed Tomas Dabasinskas's thread and found it interesting. However I cannot see CUMULATIVE. eg. what is the total download for the day, month...

Do you know if this is possible?

    Thanks

    Géraldine

    Hi Geraldine,

While this feature is only available in Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, I do suggest you check this **thread**for recommendations made by Tomas Dabasinskas in monitoring download usage for Windows 7.

I hope you find this information helpful. Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Melowin Mar

Thanks for your reply. This is answering my question but I was not precise enough.

my request is to see the cumulative of this by day, month.

eg. now I can see that lync.exe  is using a total of 1677 b/s (send and receive) , Outlook is a total of 200 b/s (send and receive) , my company VPN etc...

but how can I see the total for the day and have access for a log.

The objective is  to have my PC as efficient as possible when internet connection is low to  eventually disconnect unessential tools or monitor when I am about to exceed capacity download per month.

    Hope this is clearer now
