Compatibility Issues

My Toshiba Satellite laptop won't pick up my new mp3 player (Grtdhx) when it's plugged in. It's not under 'unknown device' or anything, I've looked everywhere. I've tried Youtube searches and googling, but nothing direction-wise I've found applies to the way my laptop is set up. Am I missing some sort of download or is there a way I can make the mp3 player or its USB compatible?

Ok great.. and that does help, although it's not the information we want.

Operating system: Windows XP&Vista/2K/ME/98 (this doesn't mention Win 7 or 10)

I'm sure others have ran into this issue, I just need to find if anyone wrote about it and how they fixed it.

    I'll keep digging.

Yes that's the exact one I bought. Will this help? In the mp3 manual it mentions (exact quote):

    "System Configuration

    Operating system: Windows  XP&Vista/2K/ME/98

(driver installation is required) /Mac OS 10"

Hi, does this look like it?

    https://www.amazon.com/Grtdhx-Bluetooth-Recorde...

Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.

I'm trying to find drivers for it (not the easiest task :)

Thanks. It's the only USB device my Toshiba hasn't recognized so far, as numerous apple devices that have been sensed other than the off-brand mp3. My laptop is toshiba satellite c55-c5268.

    Hi Hel,

Is the only USB device not recognized, or are there others? (Do you have another to test with?)

What's the exact model of your Satellite. I'll try to find some driver updates that may help us out.

    Let me know!
