I purchased a new HP Pavilion all-in-one 27-a240se with an optical drive.  Will I have to pay for download of Windows Media Player?

    Hi Jerry,

You shouldn't pay for Windows Media Player. That should come with Windows 10. If you do not see Windows Media Player (if you say, search for it in the Start menu), you can try the following.

Hit Windows key + R together and enter the following: optionalfeatures

Be sure in the new window that under Media Features, Windows Media Player is checked and click OK.

If this doesn't seem to work and you still don't see Windows Media Player whenever you look for it in the Start menu or hit Windows key + R then enter: wmplayer

...then please let me know, I'm willing to help you on this. Good luck.
