Creative 5.1 Speakers not working correctly

I have my Creative 5.1 speakers (4 speakers and 1 subwoofer) plugged into my motherboard, with I believe the latest drivers.  When I check the speaker properties, it plays a sound through each of the speakers correctly.  But when I play anything, the sound only comes through the center speaker and one side, as well as the subwoofer.  So basically, I have 2 speakers through which I get no music, movie sounds, game sounds, etc. even though Windows and the Realtek driver see them correctly.  Any ideas?

    Hi Scott,

Please open Control Panel and look for Realtek Sofware configuration, click on Audio I/O tab, select 4CH Speaker.

Please let me know if it works,

    Regards,

    Angel

    Hi Scott.

    Open the Settings App

Go to Update & Security - Troubleshoot - Playing Audio

Run that troubleshooter to see if it resolves this issue . . .
