"Unwanted" Label in Gmail

I've been searching for a solution to this problem for some time but all the answers I've found in the forums seem to relate to phone. So, my problem is this. A label called "Unwanted" keeps reappearing in Gmail no matter how many times I delete it and a variety of random emails are sent there. I'm looking for the answer on how to permanently delete this from appearing in Labels. It's not a problem on my phone because I mostly access and manage emails from my computer.

I appreciate the help to permanently delete this folder!

Thanks!

    Hi Windy,

I've attached a couple of spots it lives, and just in case you haven't removed "unwanted" from both, give it a shot.

On the left where your folder/labels are, click on the 3 dots next to it, and click remove (I assume you got rid of it this way, and it still comes back)

Before the next step, can you make sure no emails are under that label.

Click on the gear box in the top right, then settings, then labels. Scroll down, and delete it from the list.

See if it will not stay deleted.

    Let me know!
