How can unfreeze a completely frozen windows 10 desktop?

First of all I'm using my laptop to write this as the computer in question is a desktop that I'm having issues with at the moment.

Issue 1 (Most Important Issue)

I've been trying to install AVG on my computer but this has happened twice when the AVG installation is almost done both my desktop and taskbar would completely freeze up however this time when I this time when trying to unfreeze my computer (which I don't know even know how to do) the background wallpaper disappeared and its now just a white screen.

I'm tired of turning of the computer by pressing the power button and really don't want to do that anymore. I just want to know is there a way to actually unfreeze a completely frozen computer when you can't when nothing works no keyboard actions work i.e ctr alt delete.

Since I'm already here mind as well ask about a different issue

Issue 2

I hardly turn off my computer at all anymore, cause every time I turn it turn on again it gets stuck on the logo screen meaning it doesn't load up so i have to turn it off and on several times to actually get past the logo screen for it to fully load up. I've tried pressing the f8 button to see the "boot menu" when its stuck on the logo screen button the fn buttons don't seem to work and it seems like that aren't even enabled

Since this is a desktop we're talking about there is no "fn" button

the buttons are

f1

f2

f3

f4

f5

f6

f7

f8

f9

f10

f11

f12

I would appreciate if anyone can help me with unfreezing a completely frozen computer where you can't do anything task bar, start menu doesn't work nor even keyboard actions like ctr alt delete. don't even work

We strongly recommend you do not install AVG, its one of the worst Antivirus utilities you can use on Windows 10. It is notorious for interfering with Windows System files, modifying and deleting them and high up on the list of false positives.

Try the following to see if you can remove it and get your system working again:

Power on and off your computer three times

On the third time, your computer will boot into the Advanced Recovery environment

    Click Advanced Options

    Click Troubleshoot

    Click Advanced Options

    Click Startup Settings

    Click Restart

Press (4) to Enable Safe Mode

Wait while Windows 10 starts in safe mode.

Uninstall AVG, restart in normal mode. If you must use a third party Antivirus, try Avira Free.

Lol at your suggestion of installing Avira its the worst antivirus there is of all time. You can never force stop their so-called Luke Filewalker "virus scanning" even by going to the task manager and trying to "end task" there. The only way to stop the "Luke Filewalker" virus scanning" is to log in out and log in back but their Luke Filewalker "virus scanning" still comes up by itself even after disabling it from launching at startup.

I came here to get help with my computer and not get into an argument about what antivirus is the "worst" or "best". I've had AVG before and have never encountered this issue problem. But your suggestion of installing Avira is ludicrous to me because of the issues I've had with Avira and would never in a million years ever again install Avira!
