The issue that you're experiencing might be due to a misconfigured settings. However, for us to isolate it better, kindly answer the following questions:
- Have you already tried using the headphone in some other computers? Did it work as expected?
- Do you get any error messages?
- Have you also checked if the headphone shows-up in Device Manager? If you still haven't, you can follow the steps below:
Check if the headphone shows-up in device manager, if you are not sure how to do that, please follow the steps below.
- Click Start, type devmgmt.mscin search box and select devmgmt from the results. This opens the device managerconsole. Now, click on the triangle for Sound, video and game controllers.
- Right-click on the sound device, select properties. There from the driver and details tab you can determine the device and drivers.
- If there is any yellow exclamation mark on headphone, right-click and update driver.
Check if that solves the problem.
