Homegroup is removed from Windows 1803 and since then to get you PC's to visible under File Explorer network section then most important part is to start some required services.

Push Win Key and type "Services", locate those services, start them and set Start type to Automatic.

    Services are:

       - Function Discovery Provider Host

       - Function Discovery Resource Publication

       - SSDP Discovery

    • UPnP Device Host

External drive can be shared just like any folder: Right click that drive in file explorer, select properties and share. Default share name is drive letter, but you can change that to something that better describe which device it is.

Look more details from example how I have setup my network to work with Win 10 1803.

This article is about the previous version of Windows 10. The Homegroup function has been discontinued in build 1803. That is why I ask my question.
