Hi,

Currently, my PC and my Windows follows the dd/mm/yyyy format. And I have spent more than an hour to figure out how to change it to MM/DD/YYYY. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ram

    Hi Rameses,

    Open Control Panel - Region

On the resulting dialog, click 'Additional Settings'

On the second dialog, click on the Date Tab

On that tab, you can manually type your preferred long and short date format, you do not have to choose from the pre-set options in the list

    Click Apply and OK

    That's It!

I believe this is because of the region, try changing the region and then the other options will be available:

If you open the control panel

    Control Panel\Clock and Region

Change date, time, or number formats

In the drop down box under Format at the top, this is where you can change the format. Mine is in English (United States) and that is why the format is correct for me.

Did you try and change the format in the settings:

    Open Settings.

    Click on Time & language.

    Click on Date & time.

Under format click the Change date and time formats link. (very bottom)

Use the Short name drop-down menu to select the date format you want to see in the Taskbar.

    I hope that helps
