My Saitek flight Switch panel is not working with Win10.

I have installed Microsoft Flight  sim X with a Saitek yoke and throttle quadrant which works fine but, when I tried to connect the flight switch panel, It loaded onto the computer but is not active or even visable.

I have loaded the drivers from Saitek and still no good. Have search the internet for a solution and it seems to be an issue with Windows 10.

Could you please advise me as to a solution.

I have read that the drivers from Vista orWP could work but I'm reluctant to try without tech advice.

This problem must have been raised before. Also the rudder pedals seem to have the same issue.

I have also downloaded X Plane 11 and still could not get the switch panel working.

Thank You in advance

    Thankyou for your reply.

Unfortunately, due to the delay in responding( over 6 weeks), i have managed to rectify the issue by paying an expert who spent 6 hours trying to and eventually getting it partially operational.

Utube was more helpful then Microsoft.

I founnd that this is a common issue that Microsoft has been aware of for several years.

The solution involved a change in the operating system. The USB index had to be manually alted to accept the device.

A simple change once i was aware how but, for people like me who are not computer savy, a frustrating and difficult concept to understand.

A simple piece of code could have been written years ago when this issue was first observed.

Pitty that a Microsoft product isn't made compatible to another Microsoft product or that a simlpe fix is ignored to the detriment of loyal customers.

    Hello danny123k,

It could be a compatibility issue with your Saitek Flight Switch panel and Windows 10 since you mentioned that you have already loaded the drivers from Saitek. In this case, we encourage you to submit your issue using the Feedback Hub. You can either vote on an existing submission or submit a new issue. When you submit a feedback item, we gather additional details and information about your issue that will help determine what’s causing it and address it. Feedback items regularly receive Microsoft responses on the submissions in the Feedback app so you can see what we are doing about your feedback. Please revisit frequently to see the status of your feedback items.

For more information on Feedback Hub, see our support article and YouTube video.

In order to submit new feedback, please follow these steps:

    1. On a Windows 10 device, search for “Feedback Hub” in Cortana search, then launch the app
    2. Navigate to Feedback in the left menu, then press + Add new feedback
    3. Select the Problem, and share any details you think are relevant, and choose an appropriate category and subcategory
    4. Important: If possible, reproduce the problem(s) after clicking Begin monitoring (or Start capture) near the end of the form; Stop monitoring when you’re done
    5. Once you’ve completed the form and monitoring, click Submit
    6. Click Continue using Feedback Hub
    7. Click My feedback at the top, then find the item you submitted (it may take a while to appear)
    8. Open the item you submitted, then click Share
    9. Click Copy link, then paste the link here in your response (it will look like https://aka.ms/ link>)

Feel free to post back should you have other concerns.
