Reader Rabbit compatibility with Windows 10

I found my old Reader Rabbit CD-Roms.  Specifically the ones I have issues with are Kindergarten (1997) 1st Grade (1997) and Personalized Preschool (1999).  I managed to get Reading 1 (which also released 1997) to install but I can't seem to get the others to do the same (the start up program would run but I can't install the game itself).  For a few of the disc it says i have to contact the publisher to see if they have a 64bit version available (i doubt that) and setting my computer to compatibility mode seemed to only work with the Reading 1.

I have windows 10 and I was wondering if anyone with any experience could help me out?  I'd like to help out my sisters so my nieces and nephews can play as well.

I believe what the problem is that it is a 32-bit install/program and running it in compatability mode might take care of the issue. If this doesnt take care of it, you might be out of luck because you have a 64-bit operating system.

Here is a link that will guide you to run the install in compatability mode, I know this says Windows 7, but it also applies to Windows 10.

Hopefully this works. Keep me posted.

    Hello!

The menu to install Kindergarten and 1st Grade pull up.

    for example

but when i click to install this pops up

for personalized preschool no menu pops up, instead I get this message

It didn't occur to me until i started writing this reply but I realize it might have something to do with the version number of the CDs.  The three I'm having issues with are all Versions 1.0 or 1.01 while the one I successfully got to install is a Version 2.04

But still Thank you so much!  I appreciate all the help I can get

    Hi JanaeM,

My name is Fernando. I am an Independent Advisor. I am here to guide you with Reader Rabbit.

You made me look twice and took my back a few years. :) My kids had Reaer Rabbit.

Do they install but dont run? Are you getting any errors?

    Respectfully,

    Fernando Y.
