issues with timer for microsoft solitaire collection events

Several times when playing the events like the solitaire world  tour I will get "unable to connect" after completing a game and before my score is sent. the system asks "retry to connect?" but I rarely will be able to reconnect. And I must replay that game. At the same time, the game timer seems to continue to run and will show I took 30 to 60 minutes to complete a game I completed in 2 or 3 minutes. This seems to happen once per event. It happened yesterday 6/22/18 and today.

Hello, this is a common problem with timing on the microsoft solitaire collection game with the way it calculates time. The issue is that it continues to count your timer even if you are not actually in the game/go do something else for a while and are not playing.

This seems to be a bug with the game in general.

You can check the solitaire FAQs here: https://microsoftcasualgames.com/casualsuite/su...

then you can report it on the feedback hub with win+F. Other than that my only suggestion is to re-install and see if that helps.

Hey Barbed. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 8 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

Try running the Store apps troubleshooter at Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.

What's working for problems with Solitaire is resetting the game at Settings > Apps & Features > Microsoft Solitaire > Advanced Settings > Reset.

If that isn't enough try to re-register the game following Option Two here: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/3175-apps-re...

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
