clean install of win 10 if secure boot is enabled

Hi

I am thinking of doing a clean install of windows 10 home using a usb which I created.

I have already changed the boot sequence so that my pc boots from the usb

My motherboard is  ASUS H110M-A/M.2

I have disabled Fast Boot.

I see that Secure Boot is enabled.

Will doing a clean win 10 home installation run into problems given that fast boot is disabled and Secure Boot is enabled please?

Thanks in advance

Joseph

    Hi,

My ASUS motherboard does not have the option to let me turn off the UEFI secure boot. The "Secure Boot Enabled" is always greyed out and I am unable to change that option.

However I found this link https://www.qualityology.com/tech/disable-asus-motherboards-uefi-secure-boot/

This is why I am concerned about clearing the Secure Boot keys.

    Please advise

Are you thinking Secure boot keys are license keys of Software?

The Secure boot keys shouldn't affect anything.

I have disabled Secure Boot before and I have never been required to do that, its either on or off.

See the section of this article as an example:

    Thanks for your reply

My main concern in setting Secure Boot to disabled is that I have to delete keys by entering "Key Management" and selecting  "Clear Secure Boot keys"

How will I then be able to restore and install the default keys after  win 10 home installation?

Please advise and thanks in advance

Usually not, but just to be safe, you can disable Secure Boot then enable it after setup has completed successfully.
