Hello I am a fellow community member here to help. I would try to use Recuva to recover the files. It's free and safe

    The USB contains two things.

The inf file which is an empty folder

An unnamed shortcut icon of external drive which says "no application can open the file" or "cannot be accessed"

Already scanned and antivirus says there are no viruses found.

Already oppened with command promt and powershell admin and says path not found

Use Malwarebytes to scan and clean the computer.

    https://www.malwarebytes.com/

Also use ESET Sysrescue offline scanner to scan and clean the computer, see instructions in the following article:

    https://www.groovypost.com/howto/clean-virus-in...

After scanning the drive, do the following at the command line:

    Press Windows key + X

    Click Command Prompt (Admin)

Type the following command then hit Enter

    CD D:\

    Hit Enter

    Type: attrib *.* -h -s /s /d

then hit Enter on your keyboard.

    This should restore your files.

Your USB drive appears to be affected by malware.

Does anything show up when you show Hidden files or folder?
