Hi,

My Airpods in my Bluetooth settings will not remove the device.

My Airpods stopped working and I tried to remove them and it just says "removing device".

How and I remove them then reinstall?

Thanks.

thanks, but that didn't work. It says when I try to connect "That didn't work. Make sure your Bluetooth device is still discoverable, then try again". It also won't let me remove the device.

    Hi Harper,

You can simply disable this Bluetooth device in Windows Settings. This will also unpair your Airpods. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Press Windows + I to open Settings.
    2. Click Devices.
    3. Click the Bluetooth & other devices.
    4. Toggle the Bluetooth to turn it on or off.

As an alternative, you can restart your computer to disconnect your device completely. You can repeat the steps above if you want to pair the Bluetooth device again.

If you have additional questions or concerns, or if the issue persists after the troubleshooting steps above, please let me know by replying to this thread. This way, I'll get notified and respond back to you as soon as I can.

Bluetooth devices require pairing refresh before you can connect them again properly. If you find that Windows does not recognize or detect a Bluetooth device (or devices) that was previously paired up, all you have to do is go to the Device Manager, select the Bluetooth driver and update it. The operating system should be able to automatically search the Internet for available resources to update the driver.

As an alternative, you can unpair or forget the devices and pair them again. It’s the same process when you establish a Bluetooth connection across your devices like on the first time. Visit this link: Visit these links: **Connect to Bluetooth devices**and Fix Bluetooth problems in Windows 10: FAQ for more information about how you can repair or setup a wireless device.

If you continue to have this issue even after performing the above steps, please reply to this thread. The system will notify me so I can get back to you and provide you more answers.
